The device has an infrared emitting film (2), which is at least partly surrounded by a transparent flexible medium. The film is assigned to direct radiation at the body to be irradiated. The flexible medium may be a film or foil and may be formed as a bag with a hook and loop fastener, sliding clasp fastener or fastening knob. The flexible medium may be formed as a cover for a bed plate (3).
