PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator with relatively fast response time to initial generation of a multi-mode pulse laser beam. SOLUTION: A laser pumping diode 12 which guides a multi-mode laser beam from a raising medium 24, an electronic circuit 42 where the beating signal of the multi-mode laser beam 36 is detected and an error signal is generated responding to it, and an interrupter 48 where, with a straight edge 50 formed, a lateral mode is removed from the multi-mode laser beam using the straight edge until the error signal becomes substantially null after mounted on the base for free advancement toward the path in response to the error signal, thus a zero-zero-mode pulse laser beam is separated, are provided. |
