PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid welding in a splice section of a support pipe of a multi-stage type lightning rod at a building site, and to form a mechanical connection. SOLUTION: A support pipe joint device comprising a first joint fitting having a pipe to which a lower-stage support pipe having a tapered surface at a nose can be inserted to a lower direction succeeding the tapered surface, an upper pipe enabling an upper stage support pipe to be inserted in the pipe being succeeded by a tapered surface forming of an end spread shape in the same angle of the above first joint fitting, and a second joint fitting having a pipe in which the pipe of the above first joint fitting can be inserted succeeding the tapered surface, wherein the lower support pipe is welding to connect after being inserted in the pipe of the above first joint fitting, and the upper support pipe is welding to connect after being inserted into the above second joint fitting, and the upper support pipe is inserted in from the nose of the first joint fitting where the above lower-stage support pipe is inserted, and the tapered surface of the above first joint fitting and the tapered surface of the second joint fitting are made close, and the second joint fitting to the first joint fitting and the lower-berth support pipe to the upper row support pipe are fixed with bolts from the exterior. |
