BASE STATION ANTENNA SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a base station antenna system capable of reducing wind pressure load and constituting a sector zone and also high in cost performance, and to reduce the use of an FRP-based synthetic resin which constitutes a radome and causes a problem in disposal. SOLUTION: A part of the side surface of a cylinder cut off by a surface parallel to the main shaft of a metallic cylinder is set to be a reflector, and a single dipole antenna is installed in parallel to the main shaft of the cylinder in front viewing this piece of this cylindrical side in a recessed state. The use of a cylindrical dielectric cover for covering these is restricted to only an opening surface and the dielectric cover is not used to the reflector consisting of the side of the cylinder to reduce the use of the FRP-based synthetic resin.
