PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container, a kit and a method for measuring the cell function which are simple in operation, free from any dangers, and capable of measuring the cell function with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The endotoxin of the quantity sufficient for producing the physiologic active substance in the blood cell is stored in a contactable manner with the sampled blood in the container for measuring the cell function which is used in measuring the physiologic active substance produced by the blood cell in which the quantity of the endotoxin in the container is specified not to affect the measured value of the physiologic active substance, and the concentration in the total solution in contact with the blood of the endotoxin is set to be 0.6-1000 EU/ml.
