PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate insulation treatment work and disassembling and assembling work of a coil, and enable the insulation treatment work, when dimension of the whole series connection part is finished to be larger than a designed value. SOLUTION: Lead bare conductor end portions of an upper coil 2 and a lower coil 3, which are installed in an iron core slot of a rotary electric machine are mutually electrically connected by using a connection copper belt 6, and the whole connection part is subjected to insulation treatment. In this method, the whole connection part containing a part of insulating layers to the ground of the coils 2, 3 is wrapped in a pair of insulating cases 8a, piled up in a unified body and insulated. A pair of the insulating cases 8a have an inside dimension larger than the connection part and is composed of thermoplastic resin, which is previously filld with insulating filler 7 having deformability, moisture resistance and adhesive property and is molded, in such a manner that one of two divided parts is smaller than the inside dimension of the other.
