PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply which can prevent generation of a through- current and inverse flow of a current from a load with a simplified structure which consumes less amount of power. SOLUTION: When a transistor Q1 turns ON, a current flows to a load Z via a primary winding w1 of a transformer T from a DC power supply DCV. However, an electromotive force is substantially not generated in a winding w2 for detection and a transistor Q2 turns OFF. On the other hand, when the transistor Q1 turns OFF, an electromotive force is generated in the detection winding w2. As a result, the transistor Q2 turns ON, thereby flowing a current to return to the primary winding w1 passing the load Z and source-drain of the transistor Q2 from the primary winding w1, and flowing a current subsequently to the load Z.
