<p>A slide lever (6) provided on the case (2) of a portable radio is held by each supporting member (5) of an antenna (3) formed of an elastic nickel alloy and the lower portion of the antenna engages an engaging portion (61) of the slide lever (6), whereby the lower portion of the antenna (3) is bent by sliding the slide lever (6) to tilt the entire antenna an arbitrary angle in the vertical direction, thereby reducing a loss due to an inadaptable polarized wave with respect to a base station's antenna.</p> |
