The internet terminal has a map information storage device, an input device for receiving commands from the user and an internet connection device (14), for connection to the internet (16). The actual position of the user is provided by an actual position detector, with transmission of the actual position to a host computer via the internet and display of the actual position on a map display provided from the stored map information. A further display provides sales information matched to the actual location provided by the host computer and displays the goods or services selected and ordered by the user via the internet terminal.
