<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display to prevent lowering of information quantity to be displayed by displaying many characters or signs and images on a small screen and with excellent visibility of the characters or the signs and the images. SOLUTION: The characters or the signs or image data, for example, horizontally written characters or sign data 22 to be transmitted or received are displayed on a display screen 21, a part of the characters or the sign data 22 displayed on the display screen 21 is selected by a cursor 23 and the data selected by the cursor 23 is zoomed in the vertical direction. The visibility is enhanced by zooming a part of the characters and the sign data as confirming the entire structure of the characters or the sign data without changing the number of characters or signs in the horizontal direction since the data is magnified in the vertical direction.</p> |
