PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and image forming system in which the operability of a linking operation mode can be enhanced. SOLUTION: In each image forming device 1 composing the image forming system, a password number management part 62 of a control part 60 collates whether or not a password number inputted is registered in a personal identification number database 62a when an linking operation is instructed, and selects an independent operation mode or the linking operation mode in a mode selection part 61 based on the result. When the linking operation mode is instructed from other image forming devices at this time, the password number management part 62 collates the password number number, and it will newly register the password number automatically when it is not registered. This enables an operator to perform copy work by the linking operation mode by a simple manipulation. |
