The invention relates to a method for promoting sales and trade, using audio-visual media to promote goods and/or services via radio or TV broadcasts or similar. An identification code, which is intended for the promoted goods and/or services, accompanies the broadcast. Said code can be temporarily saved by a receiver that is available to the customer for this purpose. In addition, a customer-specific code, containing at least customer-specific details and authorizing the customer to participate in the process, is input and stored in the receiver. If the customer is interested in the goods and/or services offered, the identification code is saved together with the customer-specific code, using a control signal which is triggered directly or indirectly by the customer. Said process is processor-controlled. The saved code packet is subsequently forwarded to the supplier, or to a service centre commissioned by said supplier, in order to contact and/or make a delivery to said customer.
