Weft yarn clamp - by slide action operating clamping pad on guide hook from supply bobbin mounting

Designed for a rolling shed loom, where the bobbins of the weft carriers are charged with a measured length of weft yarn, the clamping system is operated by a slide which moves between two extreme positions to clamp or release the wefy yarn as it passes over a guide hook, so that it can be released in the charging phase, and clamped while the carrier passes through the shed to act as an anchor. The purpose is to allow positive carrier charging without stoppages, and without imposing breaking tension on the weft.
