PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply the external magnetic field to a magneto-optical disk by keeping the distance between the magneto-optical disk and a magnetic head for supplying the external magnetic field to the magneto-optical disk. SOLUTION: This recording device for magneto-optical disk is provided with an optical pick-up 12 for irradiating, with laser beam, one surface side of a substrate 1 of the magneto-optical disk 16 provided with a protective layer 3 formed by applying an ultraviolet setting type resin mixed with a compound for improving lubricity on a signal recording layer 2 provided on the other surface of the substrate 1 having light transmissivity, a magnetic head 11 for impressing the external magnetic field to the signal recording layer 2 by being slid on the protective layer 3 when recording the information signal and a supporting arm 8 provided with the magnetic head 11 with a gimbal spring at the tip side and connected to the optical pick-up 12 at the base side. |
