<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present information at the appropriate time when a driver desires to obtain information about specific equipment inside a vehicle, i.e., when he or she moves his or her line of sight to the equipment. SOLUTION: Current data about a navigation device or the like and user data such as the hysteresis of travel are accumulated in an information collecting means 1 in advance, and information such as that derived from a video camera for taking images of the outside can be inputted into a vehicle condition detecting means 2. Based on this information, a driver interest item anticipating means 3 anticipates items in which the driver has interest, and a presentation information acquisition means 4 prepares the information to be presented to the driver. These pieces of information are ranked by a presentation information sorting means and output to an information presentation output means 6. A means 7 for detecting the movement of line of sight to specific equipment determines whether or not the driver's line of sight has actually moved to the equipment to which the line of sight should move when the driver has interest in the equipment. When the line of sight has moved, the information is output from the information presentation output means 6 to a speaker 12 or the like through information presentation time determining means 10.</p> |
