PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the abrasion of a seat part due to the passage of pressured fluid. SOLUTION: A pressure reducing valve 1 forming a fluid passage port 17 on a valve body guide 6 supporting an inserted valve element so as to optionally slide it close to a seat 16 to/from which the valve element 4 is attached/ separated is constituted so as to have a narrow gap 21 capable of preventing the port 17 from being closed by the peripheral surface 4a of the valve element 4 in the closed state of the valve element 4 on a position of the port 17 close to the seat 16. Since the flow rate of pressured fluid on the side of the port 17 is reduced as compared with a conventional method in the initial stage of valve opening, the flow of the pressured liquid near the seat part is eased.
