PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing system which enables a photographer to select whether or not photographing information or the like is imprinted on a photographic print so as to suit to photographer's taste even in the case of 135 film. SOLUTION: This photographing system includes a camera exposing an object image on photographic film, a film developing machine 4 developing the exposed photographic film, and a printing device converting the object image recorded on the developed photographic film into electronic image data and printing it. In the system, the camera is equipped with a recording means optically recording the photographing information together with the object image on the photographic film in 1st recording form or in 2nd recoding form, and the printing device is equipped with an image processing circuit 27 discriminating the recording form of the photographing information recorded on the photographic film and erasing the photographing information in the electronic image data when discriminated that the photographing information is recorded in the 2nd recording form.
