PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headphone system that enhances a sense of wear. SOLUTION: The headphone system is provided with at least one headphone body 2 that has a housing that is mounted onto a head 23 from the outside of an ear shell 24, has a loudspeaker unit 11 and an ear pad 5 pressed onto a mounted face 25 of the head at mounting, with a turning mechanism 100 having supports 18 and 19 and with a head band 3 that is connected to the turning mechanism and freely turnably supports the headphone body via the support of the turning mechanism, and a turning fulcrum P of the headphone body with respect to the head band is placed toward the mounted face from the support of the turning mechanism.
