PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure effective copying protection even if the signals transmitted between a data processor and a disk recording and reproducing device are monitored. SOLUTION: Intrinsic recording IDs are formed at every recording in a recording ID forming section 20 of the disk recording and reproducing device 10. These recording IDs are sent to an encryption section 102 of a data processor where user data is encrypted. The encrypted user data is sent through I/Fs 101 and 19 to the disk recording and reproducing device 10 where the data is recorded together with the recording IDs on a disk 30. |
