<p>The invention relates to medicine, in particular to orthodontic medicine and can be used for bandaging teeth during parodontisis. The aim of the invention is to increase the rigidity of a parodontal bandage, ensuring by it can be used with any degree of tooth mobility. The inventive method for forming the frame of a parodontal bandage by is characterized by applying an one-layer microfibreglass 'Fiber-Splint' bandage on a vestibular surface of the teeth prepared for a treatment. The procedure consists in forming cavities in the space between teeth and in fixing the ends of the bandage to an oral surface of a set of furthermost teeth and sequential connection thereof to the ends of a six-layer microfibreglass band 'Fiber-Splint'. The method for forming the frame of the parodontal bandage can be carried out by way of preliminary formation of the frame from a one layer 'Fiber-Splint' bandage in two strips in such a way that when the first strip is applied the band age can be fixed to two adjacent teeth but is in fact fixed to different surfaces-vestibular and oral with a transition into the interdental intervals. While applying the second strip, the teeth surfaces are changed over. The formation is terminated by applying a six-layer 'Fiber-Splint' bandage to the oral surface of teeth prepared for treatment. In order to fix an artificial tooth to the splinting block while forming the frame of the parodontal bandage according to the first or second option, the frame of the artificial tooth is initially formed from the one-layer bandage and then used as a base for forming the main frame.</p> |
