PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe catheter tube of high quality having no exposure of braiding or no projection at the end of the braiding and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The catheter tube 1 comprises a torque transmission part 3 formed to be covered with an outer layer 7 on an inner layer tube 4 through metal braiding 6. In this case, the end of the braiding 6 of the part 3 is fixed to the tube 4 side by a thin film tape 8. Thus, since the end of the reinforcing layer 6 is not discretely separated, the exposure of the layer 6 after the part 3 is covered with the layer 7 or the projection of the end can be effectively prevented. |
