<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for gluing and bookbinding to improve finished product quality of glued bookbinding by stabilizing sheet conveying, preventing uneven sheets and pressure adhering the sheets. SOLUTION: The apparatus for gluing and bookbinding comprises a rotatable sheet conveying endless belt 211 having a plurality of suction opening holes, a sheet conveying drive means for rotating the belt 211, an air suction means 22 disposed inward of the belt 211, a sheet loader 23 for receiving and carrying glued sheets S conveyed by the rotation of the belt 211, a collision contact means 24 for collision contacting the leading end of the sheet S conveyed to the loader 23 to position the sheet S, a rising or falling drive means for raising or lowering the loader 23, a pressurizing means 25 for pressurizing the sheets S and the sized sheets S carried on the loader 23, and a sheet bundle discharge means 26 for discharging the bookbound sheet bundle.</p> |
