PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device for rectangular heavy object in which the equipment is easy to be mounted, by reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: This support device for heavy rectangular object comprises: a vertical base plate 21; an L-shaped plate 22 whose lower end is bent toward the base plate so as to be an L-shape; a plurality of bars 25 which are arranged on right and left side surfaces of the base plate and the L-shaped plates such that one end thereof is axially attached to the base plate 21 and the other end thereof is attached to the L-shaped plate so as to capable of vertical rotation of the L-shaped plate; and a restraining pawl which is arranged on an upper part of an inside surface of the base plate and which can vary in a projection amount in a lateral direction.
