PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin stackable internet appliance printer. SOLUTION: The printer has a rectangular box type housing matching the size of conventional electronic audio video components and the printer can be stacked easily on other component. The printer comprises a base chassis assembly having an upper passage of sufficient dimensions for holding a sheet- like medium when it moves along a moving passage in the printer, and a lower passage of sufficient dimensions for containing a medium cassette having an input tray and an output tray slidably. A channel member is fixed between the upper and lower passages and serves to define a part of a passage extending through the printer from the input tray to the output tray. A plurality of openings are provided in the channel member in order to facilitate removal of clogged medium.
