PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a robot device and its controlling method capable of greatly improving its amusement property. SOLUTION: In the robot device and its controlling method, predetermined information is transmitted to a selected sending destination after the sending destination is selected, so that an informing probability can be increased more because of selectivity of the sending destination. After information about the ambience or an internal state is obtained, the obtained information is transmitted to a predetermined sending destination, so that communication can be achieved even when the sending destination is not in a close range.
