PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connection structure, capable of restraining as mach as possible the occurrence of stress due to expansion and contraction of a lead wire, in conjunction with temperature variation. SOLUTION: This level sensor 1 has an electrical connection structure, where both end parts 2a, 2b of the lead wire 2 are fixed to a housing terminal 3 for extracting a signal to the outside, and to a level-sensing means 4 with solder 5, 6, respectively, and is attached directly to an engine oil pan 17 to sense the oil level in the engine oil pan 17. In this case, the electrical connection structure is composed, by slacking the middle part of the lead wire 2 (slack part 2c) and by deformably bending the fixing part 3a of the lead wire 2 of the housing terminal 3 in the contraction direction of the lead wire 2. The expansion and contraction of the lead wire 2, in conjunction with temperature variation, can be absorbed by the slack part 2c of the lead wire 2 and by the deformation of the fixing part 3a of the lead wire 2 of the housing terminal 3.
