PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a modified oxymethylene polymer having improved resistance to repeated impact to a weld part, and a simultaneously improved smell like a wax, and further to provide a modified oxymethylene polymer composition having improved sliding characteristics at the weld part. SOLUTION: This modified oxymethylene polymer is a linear polymer comprising repeated oxymethylene units and having one terminal terminated by at least one kind of a terminal group selected from a group comprising a residue of an alkylene oxide adduct to an alcohol, and a residue of an alkylene oxide adduct to a carboxylic acid, and has a specific molecular weight distribution. The modified oxymethylene polymer composition comprises the polymer and a specified olefinic polymer. |
