摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording material with photo-like high luster, high ink absorbing properties and improved storing properties. SOLUTION: In the ink-jet recording material provided with an ink receiving layer containing mainly a silica prepared by a gas phase method on a substrate, the ink-jet recording material is incorporated with 10-30 wt.% polyvinyl alcohol to the above described the silica prepared by the gas phase method and 0.1-40 wt.% saccharides to the above described polyvinyl alcohol in the ink receiving layer.
