摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic clutch device having a facilitated operating mechanism of a clutch part, reduced in weight and size, excellent in responsiveness, and low in cost. SOLUTION: A free-running type clutch device is formed so as to transmit a driving force from a casing 1 through clutch members 2B and 7B disengageably and engageably to differential gear devices 2 to 6 disposed in the casing 1. The clutch members 2B and 7B are formed so as to be disengaged from and engaged with each other by electromagnetic forces 9 and 8, respectively. By this, control means such as a conventional cylinder device occupying a relatively large space, piping, and pressure feed pump become unnecessary. The number of part items is reduced with a simple structure, and the weight and size are reduced. Because the clutch part is operated by the excitation by power supply, and the engagement and disengagement of power allowing an assured engaging operation and providing an excellent responsiveness can be performed.</p>
