<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for simultaneously controlling pressure and a flow rate by a single electrohydraulic valve design. SOLUTION: An actual valve output flow rate of hydraulic fluid flowing through a valve 32 is compared with a target valve output flow rate. Then, an input flow rate to the valve 32 is corrected based on the difference between the actual valve output flow rate and the target valve output flow rate. A plurality of pressure-flow curves for obtaining the target valve output flow rate based on an actual load pressure and an operator input signal is stored. The actual valve output flow rate is obtained by utilizing a flow rate sensor 42, or by utilizing a flow rate calculator using output signals from a spool displacement sensor 44 and various pressure sensors to calculate the actual valve output flow rate based on input from an appropriate sensor.</p> |
