PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of lengthening a running time of EGR feedback control as long as possible by eliminating early and appropriately EGR uncontrollable state when controlling both EGR amounts and supercharging pressure and thereby to improve exhaust gas characteristics. SOLUTION: This control device 1 for an internal combustion engine 3 is provided with a supercharger 5a having an adjustable vane 5f for EGR feedback control and for open control of supercharging pressure. When an EGR control valve 6b is judged to be in limit touch state (Step 3 is YES) and a deviation of average target supercharging pressures POAVE is judged to be larger than a first threshold value PsoL (Step 10 is YES), a duty ratio (duty) of a vane opening control valve 5c is corrected according to the deviation (Steps 12, 13).
