<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film which has excellent can-producing processability after laminated to a metal plate, has excellent heat resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance and deep draw formability, and has especially excellent hydrolysis resistance and taste and smell retainability. SOLUTION: This biaxially oriented polyester film containing a lubricant having an average particle diameter of <=2.5μm in an amount of 0.05 to 0.5 wt.%, characterized in that the polyester contains a titanium compound soluble in the polymer in an mount of 4 to 20 mmol.% as titanium metal element and satisfies either one or both of the following expressions; 0.1<=Ti/P<=3.0...(1), 5<=Ti+P<=60...(2), [Ti is the concentration (mmol.%) of the titanium metal element soluble in the polymer; P is the concentration (mmol.%) of the phosphorus element in the polymer].</p> |
