PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting tool capable of removing the rope connecting a mother ship side and a lifeboat from the lifeboat easily, safely, and quickly, capable of separating the lifeboat from the mother ship in an emergency, and requiring no replacement of the rope in training because the rope is not required to be cut off. SOLUTION: Coupling recesses 7, 8 couplable with each other rotatably integrally and releasably in the axial direction are formed on a pair of screw shafts 5, 6 capable of being screwed to a nut 11 provided on the hull of a lifeboat. A connecting ring 9 connecting a confining wire rope 4 to the tip section of the outside screw shaft 6 is fitted rotatably around the axis. A handle 10 is integrally provided on the base section of the inside screw shaft 5.
