PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rotating shaft seal with stable sealing performance over a long time used for sealing of high-pressure refrigerant such as CO2. SOLUTION: This rotating shaft seal comprises multiple seal elements 9, etc., provided between a housing 1 a rotating shaft 2 and slidingly contacting with the shaft 2, and a seal member 10 arranged among the multiple seal element 9, etc., and having a lip tip part 11b slidingly contacting with the rotating shaft 2. Material such as hydrogenated nitrile rubber containing a polyzinc methacrylate finely dispersed is used for the seal member 10. |
