PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material for construction having excellent vibration-isolating effect, sound-insulating effect and water resistance while having even excellent compressive-resistant creep performance and a floating floor structure. SOLUTION: The cushioning material for construction in which a tabular polystyrene foam foamed and molded at 100-170 times is compressed so that thickness reaches 5-20% at the normal temperature, compressive load is removed and thickness is recovered up to 40-80% is used preferably as a cushioning material for a floating floor. It is preferable that a dynamic spring constant in the case of thickness of 10-300 mm and load of 100-2,000 kg/m2 is 1-40×106/m3.
