PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear built-in type winding converting twin drum apparatus in which a drum for winding an electric cord, an air hose, a city water hose or the like is provided with child and parent gears to decrease the winding force and obtain well-balanced recovery speed, and according to the work environment for use, the drum is used both for manual winding and for automatic winding using reaction of a spring. SOLUTION: The main body of this apparatus is supported by a bilateral quadrilateral pipe frame and a horizontal rod pipe, and the bottom of the quadrilateral pipe frame is provided with rubber leg parts. In the inner frame of the main body, there are provided two winding drums capable of freely rotating on the right and left individually. One side of the main body is provided with a child and parent gear built-in case, a manual operating handle is jointed to one of the child and parent gears in the child and parent gear built-in case, and the other side of the main body is provided with a circular child and parent gear built-in case. A ratchet gear and a spring are attached to the child and parent gears 7 in the circular child and parent gear built-in case.
