PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide constitution and a manufacturing method ideal for connecting a seal to a carrier without using an adhesive in a door trim comprising the rubber material seal and the thermoplastic resin material carrier. SOLUTION: This opening trim is formed by forming a cut groove at the outer side face of the carrier of U-shaped cross section and receiving a base part of the seal into the cut groove. A rubber material and a core material for forming the seal are led into a seal molding die and formed into a primary extrusion molding containing a part of the core material in the seal, and the obtained primary extrusion molding and a thermoplastic resin material for forming the carrier are led into a carrier molding die and formed into a secondary extrusion molding wherein the part, not contained in the seal, of the core material is covered with the thermoplastic resin material. The seal and the carrier are thereby connected containing the common integral core material.
