PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound usable as an electrocondutive material free from defects of conventional electroconductive material such as a problem in terms of production, difficulty in availability, mechanical brittleness, high cost, etc., and to provide a method for synthesizing the compound. SOLUTION: This new compound contains tris(dimethylsilyl)methylsilane as a core and an oligothienylene as an arm in a main chain. The compound is a new compound which has not been reported and has properties suitable for a photosensitive material and an electroconductive material since the compound shows strong absorption and photoluminescence in the ultraviolet-visible light range. |
