PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moistureproof paper excellent in moistureproof properties and recycling properties, inexpensive and excellently productive. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises as essential ingredients, a polyethylene having a high melt flow rate or an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer having a low melt flow rate and/or a low vinyl acetate content, a tackifier and a wax. The moistureproof paper is made using the resin composition.
