PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cap lock tool for locking a fuel cap without forming a lock part for locking the fuel cap at a part of a vehicle body such as a lid panel. SOLUTION: A fuel cap lock tool 10 for locking a fuel cap 45 when supplying the fuel is formed of a cap holding part 11 for holding the fuel cap, a tether 15 extended from the cap holding part, vehicle body fitting parts 20, 28 for fitting a tip of the tether to a vehicle body, and a detachable member 35 formed of one member formed in the cap holding part and the other member 43 formed in the vehicle body fitting part so as to be attached/detached to/from the one member.
