PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for the controlled supply of ionizing radiation to a part to be treated. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes an ionizing radiation generation source 4 installed at the final end of a slender member 6 and also has a control unit 12 to control the movement of the radiation source 4 at a part to be treated through a drive unit 21. The method of this invention includes the regulation of radiation dose at the part to be treated by controlling the movement of the radiation source.
