PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet having high properties of design and decoration, not being made unclear by an overlap of a pattern or an image of a film positioned below with a sublimation transfer image, in regard to an image formation object wherein a dye accepting layer is provided on the metallized or color-printed film or the film having a high decorating effect, such as a hologram, and the transfer image is formed in the accepting layer. SOLUTION: This thermal transfer image receiving sheet has the dye accepting layer 2 provided on the film 1 having a high decorating effect, and a white hiding layer 3 is provided on the dye accepting layer 2, between the film 1 and the dye accepting layer 2 or on the rear side of the film 1. In the image formation object wherein the transfer image is formed in the accepting layer 2, according to this constitution, the pattern or the image of the film positioned below the transfer image is hidden, and thus the object having high properties of design and decoration, not being made unclear by the overlap of the pattern or the image with the sublimation transfer image, is obtained. |
