PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad for sportswear where an outer cloth (1), shock- absorbing material (3), and a lining cloth (4) are united together, and adhesiveness improvement and high shock-absorbability are compatible with each other through separating adhesive part (2a, 2b) from a shock-absorbing part (3). SOLUTION: This shock-absorbing pad is so designed that at least one of outer cloth (1) and lining cloth (4) forms a peripheral part wider than a shock- absorbing material (3) and lying outside the above shock-absorbing material (3), and hot melt adhesives (2a, 2b) are put at least at the peripheral part when viewed from the piece of lining cloth (4); thereby, the adhesive parts (2a, 2b) and the shock-absorbing part (3) can be separated from each other, and adhesiveness improvement and high shock-absorbability can be made compatible with each other because the heat of a hot temperature iron does not substantially reach the shock-absorbing material (3) even though the parts (2a, 2b) are sufficiently bonded by using the iron.
