<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a device from being formed into a large size even when a cable between a carriage and a device main body is omitted. SOLUTION: The carriage 2 is provided with a memory 14 storing printing data, a printing section 13 driving a printing head 15 in compliance with the stored printing data, a chargeable battery 12 supplying an operation electric source to a block 5, a point of contact 41 introducing the printing head to the battery 12 and a point of contact 43 introducing the print data to the memory 14, while the device main body 1 is provided with a point of contact 31 to be brought into contact with the point of contact 41 when the carriage 2 is on the given position and a point of contact 33 to be brought into contact with the point of contact 43 when the carriage 2 is on the given position, and the battery 12 is charged when the point of contact 31 is brought into contact with the point of contact 41, and the print data is stored in the memory 14 when the point of contact 33 is brought into contact with the point of contact 43.</p> |
