PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club which improves the joint strength of a socket with a shaft, the body of which is made of an elastic material. SOLUTION: In the golf club the shaft 12 is inserted into and joined with a head 10 and a cylindrical socket 14 is provided just above the insertion-joint part. The socket body 14H is made of a material as elastic as rubber and a layer of an adhesive material less elastic than the socket body is interposed between the socket body and the shaft.
