PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and certainly manufacturing a car body part having a sandwich structure while reducing cost or operation. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a can body part, especially, roof of a vehicle having a sandwich structure consisting of an outer shell 10, which comprises a foam layer 12 having an outer panel 14, and an inner shell 11, the inner shell 11 is inserted in the first mold half of a mold as a ready-made part and a foaming material is arranged in the second mold half of the mold to be attached to the molded outer panel 14 and both mold halves are closed and the foaming material is heated to be cured.
