PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest structure of an automobile seat which effectively prevents a whiplash injury of an occupant when the automobile is struck from behind. SOLUTION: A supporting member 16 is inserted into a headrest body 15 from outside. The supporting member 16 has a pair of fitting parts 19 for fitting to a seat back 3 outside of the headrest body 15, and a receiving surface structure part 20 which continues from the pair of fitting parts 19 for receiving backward movement of the head of the occupant H inside the headrest body 15. The receiving surface structure part 20 and the pair of fitting parts 19 are set so that the receiving surface structure part 20 has an angleθinclining to the front side of the automobile body based on the vertical direction when they are used. Thereby, the receiving surface structure part 20 holds, from the upper side, an axial force (tension) of the neck generated as the neck is bent backward.
