PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic sleeper which can adjust a gage between rails in a wide range, and improves the insulation between the rails. SOLUTION: Both of a pair of metallic rail receiving members 11, 12 corresponding to the right and left rails 13, 14, respectively, are not connected to each other, but fixed to ballast 24 by means of respective anchor members 23.
