PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic bread making machine which allows additional baking and cooking after the end of cooking. SOLUTION: This automatic bread making machine has a baking chamber 2 having heaters 3, a baking mold 4 which is freely attachably and detachably disposed in the baking chamber 2, a kneading vanes 7 disposed in the baking mold 4 and a control means 9 which controls the state of bread by driving of kneading vanes 7. This control means 9 has a function to prohibit the start of the cooking when the temperature of a temperature detecting means 8 is higher than a first prescribed temperature at the time of the start of the cooking and a function to start the cooking when a specific cooking menu is selected even if the temperature of the temperature detecting means 8 is above a second prescribed temperature after the end of the cooking. Only the finish baking stage which is the specific cooking menu may be additionally carried out when the temperature after the end of the cooking of the menu, such as cake, is high. The additional baking and cooking of the doughy bread are made possible.
