SOLUTION: A stick-like cosmetic material extending unit 1 advancing or retracting a stick-like cosmetic material A by the rotation of a tubular body 10 and a base 20 is interposed inside the main body 40 provided with a cover 43 opening and closing freely at the leading end. In this stick-like cosmetic material extending unit 1, a means of projecting the tubular body 10 from the cover 43 is provided, and a means of rotating the main body 40 and the base 20 synchronously is taken to rotate the main body 40 and the tubular body 10, thereby permitting the stick-like cosmetic material A to be advanced or retracted.
